Practice Patient Experience Survey
Thank you to all those patients that took the time to complete our in-house patient survey which we held at the end of last year. The feedback you provide enables us to continue to develop and improve the healthcare services we provide to you and your whanau.
Our in-house survey along with the Nation-wide healthcare surveys held quarterly throughout the year, enables further opportunities for you to have your say.
All surveys are confidential and optional.
Vaccines
Meningococcal Disease, often referred to as meningitis is an uncommon but serious infection caused by a specific bacteria. About 1 in 10 infected with meningococcal disease can die, sometimes within 24 hours, and 1 in 5 can suffer from serious long-term complications.
Your teen or young adult (13 to 25 years inclusive) is funded if they are in their first year of specified close-living situations, including boarding school hostels and tertiary education halls of residence.
To discuss this and the availability of further funded catch up programmes, please discuss with one of our nursing team.
Flu Vaccines
The 2024 Flu season start date and further information will be available in the coming months – keep a look out!
Cervical Screening – HPV Self-Test
Starting early February, our nursing team will also be available to offer HPV self-testing to eligible patients.
All cervical screening services continue to be available at the practice by our GP, Dr Lisa Cameron.
