Consultations with the Westend Medical Doctors and Nurses plus repeat prescriptions
These fees are for a standard 15 minute consultation for enrolled patients.

From 1 December 2018 enrolled patients with a valid Community Services Card (CSC) and a valid Gold Card (with CSC) will be entitled to reduced Fees.
Appointment fees are based on a standard 15 minute consultations, and longer appointments may result in a higher fee. If you have more than 2 problems, please book a longer appointment. A list of our standard consultant fees are displayed at reception – We do need at least 1 hour prior for cancellation of your appointment or a fee will be charged. Sundry Items are charged individually, please ask reception.
All referral letters that are unable to be completed during the consultation will incur an additional fee.
We do require a minimum of 1 hours cancellation notice prior to your appointment or a fee maybe charged. Please ask at reception for Service and Sundry item fees.
Payment
NO CREDIT IS GIVEN – payment is expected on the day by either cash, eftpos or credit card (charges may apply). If payment is not made, a $5.00 administration fee will be added. All overdue accounts will incur collection costs in accordance with the Fair Trading Act. We do understand that payment maybe difficult and encourage those who may have difficulty paying to set up an automatic payment to ease the burden. Forms are available at reception.
All first New Patient appointments are to be pre-paid prior to this consultation appointment being made.
If the patient is unable to attend this first appointment and does not cancel within the cancellation notice period, the pre-paid consultation fee will be forfeited.
Please note, we reserve the right to withhold services to those who repeatedly choose not to pay for consults.
