COVID-19 at Level 4

COVID-19

Please do not come into our Medical Centre during Level 4 lockdown unless you have a pre booked appointment and are wearing a mask (masks are now mandatory whenever you are out and about in the community – this will remain so for our practice until further notice – regardless of the covid level)

We offer consultation via telehealth options at Level 4 and the doctor will determine if you need a follow up consultation in person following your initial GP telehealth consultation (telephone/video consultation) – all usual consultation fees apply (this means for both the telehealth consult and follow up face to face if deemed necessary)

Please be patient when speaking with our staff as they take your calls, help with enquiries, telephone consults, etc. There have been several incidents this past week where patients have yelled and sworn at staff, this is unacceptable and will not be tolerated for any reason.

We understand this is a very stressful time, we are here to help you but we also have responsibilities for our own staff’s health and wellbeing and must follow all Ministry of Health protocols and our own.

At Level 4 and Level 3, we will be providing GP telehealth consultations in the first instance. We will review our practice following MOH guidelines after Level 3.

All invoices will be either posted or emailed out – we will not be taking any payments over the counter at this time. You are able to pay by online banking or wait until advised otherwise.

Call our repeat prescription line to order a repeat prescription – please advise where you would like the prescription emailed to – your invoice will be posted or emailed out to you.

For results – please call our test result line and leave a message – a nurse will call you back.

You are always able to speak with one of our nursing team. From time to time they may be busy with a patient/phone call, please leave a message with one of the reception team and a nurse will call you back as soon as possible.
