Covid-19 Updates

From Thursday 14 May New Zealand will drop to Level 2. We should remain at this level for sometime.

To continue maintaining maximum social distancing for your health and wellbeing, those around you and our staff, we will continue to offer consultation via telephone, video conference and email wherever possible.

Please Do not arrive at our medical centre and expect to be seen without an appointment – you will asked to go home and call to make an appointment.

Prescriptions

Requests for prescriptions will be processed as usual. Please be aware there are some delays due to the overload of requests. If you are not due a repeat, then you will not receive one. Please do not ask for medication you have not had before.

There is no need to stockpile prescription drugs.

Once your prescription is ready to pick up, your nominated pharmacy will advise you when your prescription is ready for collection. We will be posting/emailing your invoice.

Payments

Although our preferred method for payment is via internet banking, we understand this is not possible for everyone. To come into the practice to pay, please

  • Do not come into the practice if you are unwell
  • Only two people will be allowed into the practice at a time to pay
  • Payment of invoice only – any further requests, ie repeat prescription or booking - you will be asked to go home and call, please don’t be offended, this is to allow everyone time to pay and not be waiting around unnecessarily.
